Centre of Excellence
MK Dons are one of 30 FA licensed centres. These centres have been established to help develop young talented girls and give them every opportunity to progress in the Women’s game. The Centres are run for ages U11 right through to U17 and provide a full fixture programme that sees them compete regularly against other Centres of Excellence.

Player Devlopment Centre
Player Development Centre (PDC) is a local County FA run centre for U11, U13, U15 age groups. Players gain access to the PDC through a trial process organised and delivered by the County FA. Having played school and grassroots football, the PDC is the next step of The FA girls’ talent pathway. Players can be nominated for trials by their teacher or grassroots coach when it is appropriate for the player’s development.

PDC play their first fixture!
Christmas holidays saw the 1st fixture v Bedfordshire, and the Berks & Bucks based squads performed very well, the U11’s won 2-1, the U13’s battled out a 3-2 victory and the U15’s were held to a 1-1 draw. Technical Director Adam Colley commented on how pleased he was with the level of commitment and ability of the players and was looking forward to supporting the girls to become more team orientated over the next few sessions.
One grassroots coach and parent said "The PDC gives an opportunity for my better girls to coached at a higher level than I can deliver to a mixed ability team. You can see the difference in them on a Saturday with the confidence and skills they play with!"
With the next 8 weeks coaching under way, the girls are looking forward to the next fixture against some of the London Development Centres in half term.
