Representation from local leagues, MK Council, local clubs, MK Dons Sport & Education Trust and schools meet to discuss the issues and areas for development in Milton Keynes.
The group are currently working on a development plan to focus the efforts of the group.
The group has also been successful with a funding application to Sport England for "Get into Football." This funding is to be used to develop opportunities for players aged 16+ to play local football at a time, when statistics show that players tend to drop out of the game.
It is hoped that this funding, will help buck the trend and produce a clear and concise pathway for anyone within Football in Milton Keynes.
The group is currently working on a brand and identity and will soon have their own website.
