Berks and Bucks FA - developing football for everyone
Development - take your skills to the next level

Charter Standard Club Support

The FA Tesco Skills Team can offer blocks of support to Charter Standard Clubs. This support can be a bespoke programme, tailored to the needs of your club, teams, coaches and players. Support can be varied, and can be used over a whole season, depending upon the needs of your club.

Support Sessions
The FA Tesco Skills Team can come to visit your team at training, and deliver coaching sessions with your team coach. The sessions will be planned in advance with a session resource at hand, and can focus on an area of development agreed between the club and the skills coach.

Session Resources
For each training session that we deliver we can provide the club with a range of resources that can help your coaches deliver sessions when the Skills Team are not present. The session plans can focus on an area of development highlighted by the club, and are in an easy to follow slide format.

As well as session plans, the skills team can support the club with ideas about getting the best out of coaching sessions, behaviour management techniques and more.

Coaching Clinics
To work with, and effect as many coaches as possible, The Skills team are able to put on and deliver coaching clinic events. This would involve the Skills Team delivering a theory and practical session, linking to an area of development that is suitable for the club. The Skills Team could explain the what, where, why, when and how’s inside, and then demonstrate to all of the attending coaches outside.

Qualifications
If you have coaches at your club who are interested in taking their next coaching course, or gaining some new football specific qualifications, The Skills Team can signpost you towards what would be best for your personal development, through the Berks & Bucks County FA, and their extensive range of courses.
