The half term courses ran over two weeks at the beginning of August. The courses were full of really enthusiastic football loving kids who learnt a lot of new skills and met new friends.
Across the summer the coaches have been working alongside a number of professional clubs such as MK Dons and Wycombe Wanderers.
Dan Saunders, skills coach for Milton Keynes was lucky enough to attend a charter standard club festival at Wembley Stadium! The day involved the kids participating in matches, shooting sessions, and the chance to meet England hero, Sir Geoff Hurst!
After a busy exciting summer, all the coaches are looking forward to starting the Skills Centres which begin the beginning of September.
The start dates of The FA Skills centres are listed below;
- Milton Keynes Stantonbury Campus School: 9th September
- Newbury Park House School: 13th September
- Aylesbury Quarrendon School: 14th September
- Slough Langley Grammar School: 15th September
