
Nominations for the third annual FA Community Awards, presented by McDonalds are now open. The awards aim to recognise and reward the people and organisations that offer their time and skills to ensure their club or league is properly run, and in turn driving grassroots football within their community.
The Berks & Bucks FA is calling on people from across the county for nominations for the eight award categories so that they can be recognised for their achievements. The eight award categories are listed below, but be quick the deadline for all nominations is Friday 11th May.
The eight award categories are:
• Outstanding Contribution Award • The FA Charter Standard Community Club Award • The FA Charter Standard Development Club Award • The FA Charter Standard Club Award • The FA Charter Standard League Award • Volunteer of the Year Award • Young Volunteer of the Year Award • Coach of the Year Award

All Berks and Bucks winners will be invited to an awards evening on Wednesday 13th June, where they will be presented with their awards. National award winners will be announced at the FA Community Awards in October 2012. Last year Michael Judd from Stony Stratford Town, was the national winner of the Volunteer of the Year award 2011 which was presented at last year’s FA Community Shield.
