About My Role
I have been working at Berks and Bucks FA for over 2 years now as Girls and Womens Football Development Officer. The main gain of my role is to increase the number of females in football, including coaches, and referees as well as players. I work with clubs to start up girls teams, support them in coach development resulting in better players.
As part of my role I lead on school clubs links, helping schools and clubs to support each other and I am also the secretary of the new Berkshire County Girls League
About Me
I completed a BTEC National Diploma in Sports Science at Abingdon and Wintey College where I got my first taste of coaching completing my Community Sports Leader Award. I then went on to gain a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Therapy with Hons at the University of Bedfordshire. During my time at University I completed my FA Level 1 and 2 certificates and coached soccer schools during the holidays. Before coming to work at Berks and Bucks FA I worked at Oxford United Football Club as Assistant Community Officer.
